I had to have it because it reminds me of my great grandchildren. The girls on the donkey( we have mules) and the boy not riding. It is exactly the way it is Andrew is scared of ieverything and the girls, not at all. Lol.
I loved reading about the Ekeko fable, and this figurine is the perfect Ekeko. He is colorful, has a woven hat and lots and lots of presents. Most enjoyable and fun to look at. And, he indeed looks very jolly and makes me smile!
Truly captures a young and loving St Joseph as a daddy. My friends saw mine and HAD to have one.
The carving is beautiful and the color blends well with many color schemes.
