It's amazing how a piece of clay can be transformed into heirloom. The unpainted clay surfaces reveal a creamy white clay that must be unique to the artist's region. The swirling painted design is bold & elegant. The beading outlining the design gives it depth and nice texture. The glaze makes the colors vibrant. The box was shipped promptly. It was carefully packaged. Sheets of paper were expertly molded to the shape of the box to pad it for shipping. It was fun unrolling everything to discover my "prize". Combining two of my favorite symbols birds and hearts into these lightweight statement earrings are perfect for me. They definitely say "Mexican art". Very well made. They are the perfect summer earring. It is winter where I live right now, so I wear them around the house. Pandemic? I wear them on Zoom meet-ups. Love them!!
