When the sun begins to rise beyond the horizon and the night gives way to day, there is perhaps no more glorious color than the red-orange dawn that serves as a stop gap between the black of midnight and clear blue of afternoon. The carnelian that adorns these beautiful earrings by Made Sugi perfectly encapsulates the feeling of renewal when dawn brings a new day.

This ring is even more beautiful in person. And while the decorated front and sides are large, the band is narrow enough to feel very comfortable. This is a work of art to give the garden motif I wanted. I love it. I look forward to seeing more from artist Made Sugi.

"Our motifs are Balinese and include jawan (silver bubbles) and bun (swirls). These motifs are challenging because they require a delicate hand for an intricate process."
