Guatemalan artisan Manuel Delfino operates his own workshop dedicated to making progress in the artistic styles of the Antigua Guatemala community, perpetuating the family tradition of woodcarving that he learned from his father. Working with pinewood, Manuel carves this proud deer figurine with its prominent horns and confident stance, hand-painting an elegant floral motif over the brown coat.
