Details

Maize is the staff of life in Mesoamerica, and Mario Chávez depicts a flourishing corn plant as a motive for joy. Bright birds perch amid the verdant foliage to sing of the harvest to come. Woven on the handloom with naturally tinted wool, this accent rug is an elegant example of Zapotec weaving. Chávez names the design Renace el arbol de la vida in Spanish.

Because each piece is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 1 inch (3 cm).

Bright and Cheery! Perfect!”

Exactly what I was looking for...a bright cheery rug to use beneath the barstools at my new kitchen island. The colors are perfect, exactly as pictured, and the craftsmanship is very nice. The wool is thick so I expect this rug will wear well. Couldnt be happier!
