Abstract wood details bring a mystic aura to this reclaimed tun wood sculpture handcrafted by Indian artist Suresh Pant. With a natural brown tone, the artwork features little holes resembling the ancestral eyes of the forest.
Suresh wants to show the world the soul and nature of the forest through reclaimed wood creations with abstract formations, hiding mystic but profound messages.

This piece arrived well-protected and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I could barely get it to stand up straight, as it is designed to do, because of imperfect weight-distribution. It wants to tip forward. A small, attached, solid base would probably have corrected this tendency, but, unfortunately, no base was integrated into the design. Not wanting to risk having it fall over and chipping or breaking, Ive laid it down horizontally. Being basically driftwood, it looks all right that way to me, but its not the way the artist designed it, nor is it the way that I envisioned displaying it. Too bad.

I read the reviews but remained somewhat a skeptic. If I could give this artist more than 5 stars I WOULD. It arrived safely and is exquisite. I immediately placed it in its new home ~ with intention. I cannot wait until I am ready to order another work. Money well spent. You will not be disappointed
