Will water damage my hammock?

While occasional exposure to water will not damage a hammock, excessive contact can lead to mold and mildew. Nylon hammocks are more weather-resistant than cotton hammocks; and hammocks with wooden stretcher bars may suffer damage from moisture to the wood bars if left outdoors. Most important for hammock care is ensuring that a hammock is properly dried after getting wet. Tea for two and two for tea!

When I opened the package, I was surprised because it was not the hammock I thought that I had ordered … it was the one beneath it or above it in the online catalog – I can't remember which. I blame that on the website layout; however, the color is neutral and looks great on my front porch. When I go camping, I do not use a tent; I use a hammock, so I am very used to it. Now all I have to do is get my S.O. to trust a hammock since this one is for two people!

Hammocks are wonderful for almost any occation. For the very old and young, the active and those at rest. I use mine for camping, my mom uses hers for reading, and keeping her grand daughter occupied. Wonderfully made. Thank you.
