A wonderful expression of artistic ability of the late Putra Suteja which reminds me of my home area: southeast asia. The essence of our region is captured in this piece for me.
This whimsical tree of doves just spoke to me. The combination of whimsy, artistry, the peaceful symbolism of tree and doves, gives a lift to my heart every time I look at it. I loved all the colors but had to make a choice…maybe someday I will buy more and make a forest.
For several years, I cherished a set of mother-and-child elephants from Novica. When I lost them in a house fire, I knew I needed to replace them with something just as beautiful. This set, which I chose to represent my three children (16, 8, and 3) is even more lovely that I had hoped.
