This vibrant retablo showcases a group of skeletons that rise from their eternal dreams and return for a night of earthly pleasures, eating, drinking and celebrating their lives and memories. Evoking the Day of the Dead, Peru's Jose Ramos designs this unique diorama handcrafted from black walnut wood whose hand-painted ceramic figurines expertly arranged within make it a standout. Elabourate floral and leaf patterns adorn the doors that can be displayed either open or closed, providing a delightful touch.

“Bursting with character”

Just received my retablo after looking at them for many years. This Mask Shop is filled to the gills with colorful, quirky and expressive tiny detailed masks. It is beautifully constructed and came well packed. Highly recommend to collector or for a gift.

“Truly beautiful and unique”

I love this nativity and it occupies a cherished spot on my mantel for Christmas. Looks handmade and the unusual colors are beautiful. My one issue was that two of the very delicate pieces had broken off when it arrived. I was able to glue them back on just fine, but I think the teeny tiny styrofoam pellets are not the best packing material for inside the retablo. They also went ALL over my house! Not a big problem and I love the piece
