Marina Pallares exalta las costumbres mexicanas en su original serie Tequila Lotto, inspirada en el clásico lotería juego o bingo. La tarjeta 20 presenta un sombrero, una guitarra, una trompeta, una botella de tequila y el tradicional sarape. La lotería hizo su aparición en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII y sigue siendo una de las favoritas en escuelas, ferias, carnavales y festivales. "Crecí en Jalisco, una ciudad conocida por la producción de tequila a partir de plantas de agave, y cuando era niño jugaba a la lotería todo el tiempo. Estos dos hechos me inspiraron a crear la serie 'Tequila Lotto'", confiesa Pallares, quien acredita la influencia de Leopoldo Méndez y José Guadalupe Posada en su obra. Domina las técnicas de aguafuerte y aguatinta para crear esta elocuente composición.

“More Beautiful In Person”

I loved this artwork. I think it is inspirational. And the embossed birds flying out of the birdcage makes it particularly unique. If you are on the fence, I would definitely buy.

“Fire and Sea”

I love it, its bigger than I thought but beautifully detailed! My only complaint is that it came without the certificate of authenticity. Love Marina Pallares work I owe a few of her pieces
