"El proceso de elaboración de estas pequeñas criaturas fue algo que aprendí cuando era pequeño y desde entonces se ha convertido en una de mis pasiones", dice el artesano guatemalteco, y agrega que la escultura está hecha para "todos los amantes de las aves". " Comienza mezclando la arcilla y dando forma cuidadosamente a la figura, y luego agrega patas y pies de aluminio. Después de disparar el pájaro, lo lija, mezcla sus propios colores y pinta la figura. “Rememberance Gift”

Gave this as a rememberance gift and my sister loved it. I have bought several different birds as gifts and a couple for myself because they are very realistic, very well made. Mauricio pays very close attention to detail. I have not been disappointed.

“Wow! This woodpecker is amazing!”

Many thanks Mauricio. Your birds never disappoint. I was going to order this to give to a friend, but decided I needed it more. This will join other birds on top of the antique secretary. The wires in their feet make it so easy to pose them.

“Amazing”

Mauricio is a true artist. He paints these little birds to look quite life-like. Ive purchased 3: Red-tailed hawk, Chickadee, and Woodpecker. One is for a friend and the other 2--well, --theyre in my house so I see them every day. Only 1 thing--the Woodpecker is a different size than the others. Just FYI.
