I've always been a fan of Lapis Lazuli and have many different pieces of jewelry, but this one stands above them all. I never knew how vividly blue the stone was supposed to be until I got this necklace. Whenever I wear it I get tremendous compliments and I love to tell people where I buy it in the hopes that they will begin to support the artists through NOVICA. Hard to believe the quality of this item for such a reasonable price! I get so many compliments! When I do, I share the Novica website and tell them the artist's name. My hope is to support gifted artists, like Sasina and to spread the word while enjoying the most beautiful jewelry pieces like this lovely garnet and amethyst necklace. This piece is long and elegant but casual and easy to wear. The pearls are delicate but not so symmetrical as to look molded, and the tiny brass beads give it a bit of weight and glimmer. I love it.
