My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
I love the sun-golden glints in this "ocean" of turquoise. Not a large piece, but still has presence. Comfortable to wear. Goes with almost everything.
