This flute was a gift to our son who isn't inhibited to try playing any musical instrument-the Christmas wrapping hadn't been picked up and he was getting familiar with his new instrument.
My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
